Set within the hills of Dhërmi overlooking the Ionian Sea, Vera e Gurtë is conceived as a contemporary retreat deeply rooted in the character of the Albanian Riviera. The project is organized as a sequence of terraced volumes that follow the natural slope of the site, allowing the architecture to settle gently into the landscape while preserving uninterrupted views toward the sea. Natural stone façades and traditional tiled roofs establish a strong dialogue with the local architectural identity, while large glazed openings introduce a more contemporary language and strengthen the relationship between interior and exterior spaces. Outdoor terraces are treated as an extension of the living spaces, creating a gradual transition between architecture, vegetation and the surrounding landscape. With its low-density composition, Mediterranean planting and panoramic pool areas, the project creates a calm and immersive residential experience defined by materiality, privacy and a strong sense of place.
